Crochet Animal Hats

Today I thought I'd share with y'all a few of my favorite crocheted animal hats. They are all from RepeatCrafterMe.com. Just click on the names of the patterns to access the pattern from RepeatCrafterMe. :)
All of the hats pictured I made and photograped for this blog and they are all made in the smallest size listed on the website of Sarah Zimmerman. Which is RepeatCrafterMe.com. Above each picture I have listed the materials I used, such as yarn brands and buttons. Enjoy and let me know below if you would like another post like this one sometime. :)

Here is my personal favorite, the Crochet Owl Hat Pattern. I love the color purple and love using it with whatever I happened to be making. So I created this purple version of RCM's pattern using some Bernat Super Value yarn for the lighter purple and some Loops and Threads Impeccable by Michaels Craft Stores in the darker purple color and some white. For the little bit of black I used Red Heart Super Saver and for the yellow, I used Lion Brand's Vanna's Choice line of yarn in Mustard. The buttons are black buttons I found in my local Walmart. I believe the brand is called Le'Button.   


For this adorable Frog Hat Pattern of RCM I used Lion Brand Vanna's Choice yarn for the main green color. for the cute little pink cheeks I used some Loops and Threads Impeccable by Michaels Craft Stores. The black and white yarn is Red Heart Super Saver in black and white. The buttons on this hat are also from my local Walmart and the brand is the same as the one above. The only thing I did differently in my version was I did braids on the end of the earflaps. RCM's pattern has a crocheted braid, I just liked the standard braid look better. Everyone has different tastes. I do like hers a lot though. :)


This Tiger Hat Pattern I made with all Red Heart Super Saver. The colors I used are orange, black, and white. The buttons are also from my local Walmart. (Ha, go figure...) FYI this is my best seller on Etsy. ;)

After great reviews and many requests, here it is!  After I posted this photo: in one of the crochet groups I'm in on Facebook asking if I should write up the pattern, I got a TON of comments saying I should defintly do it, so I did! Although, it is not all my pattern, just the main part of the hat. The earflaps and the ears are part of the pattern posted by Sarah at RepeatCrafterMe. (Links to her website can be found below.) I made up the main part of this hat because I could never get the bobble stitches to "puff" enough. And lately, I have been making a lot of puff stitch slouchy hats, so I decided to make this lamb hat using the puff stitch. The puff stitch pattern I followed was the one from Ashley at Sewrella. Crochet Beautiful Shells Blanket Pattern Review and "What-I-Used"

Hello again! Today I'm sharing with y'all one of my favorite crochet blanket patterns, The Beautiful Shells pattern. I originally saw it on a crochet Facebook Group I am in and had to try it out! This is the link to the pattern by Lahoma Nally-Kaye on Ravelry:  CLICK HERE What-I-Used: For my version of her beautiful pattern, I used all  Red Heart Super Saver and an I-5.50mm crochet hook  The colors I used were called:  Aran, Real Teal, and (I'm pretty sure) Turqua.
