Finishing the bow: Ch 1 and continue to SC around the entire rectangle you just made and fasten off with a long tail and invisible join when you get to the start of Row 8. *DO NOT weave in ends.*
To form the bow, wrap the long tail you fastened off with around the rectangle using the picture of the hat as a guide, once you’ve made the center as thick as you want it, sew the bow to the hat using another piece of yarn. I sewed mine at the ends of the bow as well as the center, but you can do as you wish!
I hope you enjoyed this pattern!
A BIG thank you to all of my testers! Y'all all did so great with this hat pattern!! Thank y'all so much!! Here is a little gallery of their hats and links to some of their pages. :)
Betsy used: Caron Simply Soft: Burgundy and Off White. This would be a great Christmas baby present!
Evonne added a different twist to her hat by doing Double Crochet instead of Single Crochet once she got to the contrasting color band section of the pattern. Which I like very much by the way!

Lauren made her hat purple and off white, which I love! They go great together and it's so cool for me to see there are so many colors ombos everyone can come up with! Check her out and give her some Favorites on Etsy. ;)
Zorica made her hat with Caron Simply Soft in Watermelon and Red Heart Soft Grey Heather. She also did a great job with her hat. I really love her color combo too!
