Crochet Lamb Hat *FREE Pattern Modification*

Image
After great reviews and many requests, here it is!  After I posted this photo: in one of the crochet groups I'm in on Facebook asking if I should write up the pattern, I got a TON of comments saying I should defintly do it, so I did! Although, it is not all my pattern, just the main part of the hat. The earflaps and the ears are part of the pattern posted by Sarah at RepeatCrafterMe. (Links to her website can be found below.) I made up the main part of this hat because I could never get the bobble stitches to "puff" enough. And lately, I have been making a lot of puff stitch slouchy hats, so I decided to make this lamb hat using the puff stitch. The puff stitch pattern I followed was the one from Ashley at Sewrella. (Her link can also be found below.)  They are my 2 favorite crochet bloggers, btw. ;) I hope you enjoy and it is easy for you to work up! If you have any questions, feel free to comment below, and I'll answer asap. Happy crocheting! ...

Crochet Five-Pointed Star Baby Blanket

Image
I'm quite proud of this baby blanket! I made this little... well... slightly big... star baby blanket for a lady who recently had a little baby boy and she loved it!  It went well with his nursery colors and everything! I really like how it turned out!  The pattern is from The Crochet Crowd and there is also a YouTube video on how to make it along with a written pattern!  I watched a little bit of the video and then caught on pretty fast and easily.  (But that could be because I've made a 12 pointed blanket as well...) Click  Click HERE for the written pattern and YouTube video. For this blanket I used: Red Heart Super Saver Yarn In White, Blue, and Delft Blue.  And I wanna say I used royal or maybe Soft Navy  and some sort of turquoise, but I just don't quite remember... Size H-5.00 mm crochet hook Some pictures of my blanket: On the couch ^ Here is a little close up ^ Table top view ^ ...

The girl set is for a Disney lover who's expecting a girl sometime soon. The Mickey set is still sitting in my yarn room (AKA my bedroom, cuz I don't really have a yarn room...) as an un-gifted for now. The patterns I used are a combination of from Repeat Crafter Me and Whistle and Ivy and ghey are very well written. If you have any trouble with the patterns, join her  Facebook Page  (which I am in) and ask any questions that are crochet related at all! Here's the Links needed for this project: (Click the highlighted letters) Here are the  Minnie and Mickey Hat Patterns (The only thing I did different was I crocheted them using the DC stitch and for size 0-3 months I did 6 rows...
